Don’t know what to do with the computer you have replaces since the first of the year. Do you need to make more room? Computers4Kids Inc., collects your old technology for the purpose of refurbishing them for our Computers4Kids & Veterans. Last few years with your help, we have been able to collect over 200 computers to be refurbished and recycled. Those some computers were given to organization for computer learning center, government assisted programs, disadvantage youth and recycled to keep our environment clean.
We are anticipating with your help! The Computers4KIds & Vet will exceed this number with refurbished computers to give back to the community.
Recycle IT for Charity is a recycling campaign to help community and developing countries 365 days a year. Computers 4 Kids Inc., takes used computers, refurbishes them, for disadvantaged poor and youth living in our community. Provide affordable communications to individuals helping to “bridge the digital divide. Our organization operates solely through volunteers, donated items and monies.
We place computers in communities and neighborhoods without access. In homes of children and community organizations to give training in basic computer skills, as an effective way of providing equal opportunities to bridge social gaps.
Our equipment needs are constantly changing, but generally we will accept the following computer equipment:
PCs with processor speeds of Pentium 4 or higher*
Flat panel, LCD monitors
Laptops (working or not)
Servers
Printers (working)
Keyboards
Speakers
Mice
Cables
Hard Drives (40 GB or higher)
Memory
DVD-ROM and DVD writers
*We cannot accept CRT monitors, all-in-one machines, fax machines, or scanners
